Dusting
One of the simplest yet most effective ways to keep your resin items looking their best is regular dusting. Dust can accumulate over time, dulling the shine and luster of your pieces. To prevent this, use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth or a feather duster. Gently wipe or dust off any particles from the surface of your resin treasures.
A Gentle Cleaning Routine
For a more thorough clean, occasionally give your resin items a gentle wash. Here’s how:
- Fill a container with lukewarm water.
- Add a few drops of mild dish soap or a resin-specific cleaner (check our recommendations below).
- Dip a soft cloth into the soapy water and wring it out until it’s just damp.
- Gently wipe the surface of your resin item.
- To get rid of any remaining soap, thoroughly rinse the cloth before wiping the object.
- Use a fresh, dry cloth to dry the item.
Although resin is resilient, it’s best to avoid using harsh or abrasive chemicals during the cleaning process. Stay away from bleach, acetone, and strong solvents, as they can damage the resin’s finish and color.

Be Mindful of Heat and Sunlight
All resins yellow over time. We however try to make our products from resin that has UV protection, that being said, resin is sensitive to extreme temperatures and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight causes warping, discoloration, or even cracking. Avoid placing your resin items near radiators, stoves, or windows where they might be exposed to heat or intense UV rays.
Items with glow in the dark pigment require exposure to the sunlight only for a few minutes to recharge.You may also use the light from fluorescent(energy saving) and incandescent(regular) light bulbs to recharge them.
It is good practice to ensure your hands are clean and free of lotions or oils. These substances can transfer onto the resin’s surface and may be difficult to remove
